Agwambo
must be most careful with dialogues sponsored by the West; the last time he got
involved in one, he lost his presidency.
2.
I bet Jubilee, IEBC and now Western envoys are one thing; I also bet the above
three already know the outcome of the dialogue they are proposing before it has
even started.
3.
At one point in time, Cord was advocating for troops withdrawal while Jubilee
were for their retention in Somalia; from that the West instantly recognized
that Jubilee was playing on their side and therefore they currently see Jubilee
as the right outfit to be in control of this country in order for their
interests in Somalia to be best served: GREAT DANGER!
Whoever (mis)advised Cord to call
for troops withdrawal from Somalia did the greatest damage to the opposition;
imagine even the loud-mouthed Duale knew better than to do that. US foreign
policy and interest is very uncompromising; you are either with them in
whatever they are doing or against them. In this case, Jubilee was with them
(in combating terrorism) while Cord was perceived to be against them.
4.
Beware! The West are known to support anyone so long as their interests are
taken care of; and right now their number one interest and priority in the
world is the war against Islamic extremism.
5.
It takes a fool not to see that the above is what influenced matters at the ICC
and set Uhuruto scot-free; it is now apparent why Ruto was unusually confident
when he chose to go for a no-case-to-answer application at the ICC.
6.
I bet Jubilee and the West already know that the most that will come out of
their dialogue with Cord is a resolution for strict surveillance of the
elections accompanied by some inconsequential constitutional amendments.
7.
They also know that Agwambo will go to that kind of a dialogue with people like
Kalonzo (who already feels cheated out of the 2013 Cord MoU), Mudavadi and many
other compromisable "stakeholders" and that it will be easy to
outnumber Agwambo and force him to settle for much less: DOUBLE DANGER!
8.
Beware! Obama's snub of Cord principals during his visit in Kenya during the
GES 2015 was a sign of worse things to come; explains why the US envoy is
leading the onslaught.
9.
Jubilee and IEBC seems to have been informed that stricter surveillance was
coming, no wonder the rushed forced registration in Mt. Kenya; this could be
for the purpose of achieving workable numbers on the ground for rigging because
rigging huge figures will be obvious if the parties agree on strict
surveillance as a solution.
10.
Beware! We have nothing to show in terms of electoral reforms from the
opportunity we got in 2008 because we agreed to sit down and dialogue with
burglars on how to structure an electoral system that is burglar proof.
In
conclusion, my opinion is that the only way forward for Cord, is to get in
power at all means and carry out these reforms solely by themselves, as they so
wish and as they deem it most appropriate.
